Lupin Dream 7-2-13

I don't quite remember any of the beginning, so none of that matters.  Although, it probably does, but whatever.  The point I remember is me driving with Lupin in some small-assed convertible that we somehow fit into.  (We were normal sized at that point.  The car was like those little metal pedal cars they had years ago.  It was small.)  He was driving it down a path through a park and zooming around people jogging and walking their dogs and such.  He mentioned something about finding a point where he could upgrade the car, so I was helping him look for whatever it was we were looking for.  And then other small-assed cars appeared and it was then apparent that we were in some sort of game where you had to upgrade your car and make it faster and better than the others so you could win the race that we were on, I guess.

We end up now even smaller, like the car is a toy car and we are small enough to fit inside of it.  We are driving away from the cops, who are also small and in small cars, and it's like we are going through the sewers or something weird.  We end up at an upgrade point and Lupin somehow gets out of the sewers and stops on this point.  He is not happy that we don't have enough experience to get the really good upgrade so he gets something that I don't remember.  But whatever it was it didn't really do much to improve the car.

Outside of the upgrade point is a supermarket and for some reason we go there and start zooming under all the stored carts and avoiding a dog, I think it was, that was after us.  (It was a normal sized dog.  Or cat.  Or rat.  It was something small, but to us, big.)  We hide long enough for the dog (I'm just gonna go with dog) to get bored.  I think another car came in and it began to chase that car.  It seems familiar.  So, with no dog to worry about we leave and go back to the upgrade point.  Someone we (or I) know is parked by the upgrade point, which is now a patch of dandelions.  One of us tells them about the place, but they choose not to believe us, so we leave.

We are back on the path at the park and racing another car to the finish, but the car doesn't want to go that much faster as it did before.  (Why the upgrade he got sucked.)  The car in front of us stays in front of us and we can't pass it and it wins. Lupin is not happy and blames the car.  I am annoyed, as I thought the upgrade was supposed to do something, but obviously didn't.

And then I woke up.
