Paranormal Experiences : Part 2

In the following years I had several different experiences. I am not sure when these took place during my life, but I do remember them.

One night my parents were getting ready to go and see a friends band play. I was standing in the short hallway downstairs and watching my dad as he finished getting ready in the bathroom. At the end of the hall was the door that went out to the garage. My dad finished and left the bathroom, the two of us standing by the door. He told me to be good and that they'd be back later. He hugged me and started to leave when I heard what sounded like someone grabbing the door handle and violently jiggling it. I immediately looked over at the door handle and freaked out, thinking that there was someone inside the garage trying to get in.

My dad didn't hear anything, so when I told him he said I was hearing things. I insisted that I heard it and so he checked the garage. He found that the side garage door was locked and that the two large doors were closed, so there was no way that anyone would have been inside. To keep me from bugging him he propped a chair up against the door when he left and that calmed me down.

Upstairs we had a little loft area. In that was a TV and two recliners and some book shelves. The recliner I always sat in was next to the railing by the stairs.

One evening I had been watching TV. Done with the show I turned the TV off and just sat there in the recliner bored, wondering what to do next. The house was quiet, so I just listened to that for a while.

Suddenly I heard what sounded like two people murmuring at the bottom of the stairs. It was that thing where you can't hear anything being said, but you know that people are talking. I sat quietly and tried my hardest to make any words out, wondering if what was being spoken was English or some kind of native language.

Wanting to hear better I leaned closer to the railing. It was then that the recliner squeaked and the voices quickly stopped. I then jumped up and looked over the railing, but I didn't see anyone or anything at the bottom of the stairs.

In the loft was also when I realized we had a little black ghost cat. At the time we had our own little black cat, Molly. And so when anyone saw the ghost cat we all thought it was Molly.

Other family members knew before me that the cat was not Molly. Or they had their suspicions it wasn't.

Once again I had been watching TV and was sitting in the recliner bored. Walking across the loft and into my brothers room was this cat, so I said "Hello Molly" and called her to me. I was annoyed when she didn't even act as if I were there, just continued on walking into my brothers room.

I got up and walked downstairs to find Molly was curled up asleep on the couch. Me being me, I wondered how she had made it downstairs so quickly.

Later I asked about the cat and was told that it was a ghost and that was when I learned how others had done the same as me, thinking it was Molly and then finding out it wasn't.
